Much volleyball tonight. I was able to witness only the junior high "A" game versus Crown Point Christian School played at the Griffith campus. The girls handled Crown Point pretty well, winning 25-15, 25-18. My understanding is that the "B" team also won.
At the JV tournament, reports are that the Calumet/Calvary beat Schaumburg and Heritage Christian High. The games against Heritage, winner of last year's tournament, were closely fought. The scores I heard were 25-23, 21-19.
The JV team is in action tomorrow at 10:00 AM against Southside. Bracket play begins at noon. See you there.
