Well, the parents won, but with Faith, Jessie, and Taylor not there, we can't say we beat the varsity team. Even without half the team, the varsity did beat the parents in the first game. The parents regrouped and then took three straight from the team.
In case you didn't hear, Taylor underwent successful surgery for a broken kneecap, not a torn meniscus as previously suspected. Her recovery time is expected to be six weeks. Tina just got a new cast and her doctor said that her arm is healing slowly.
Hopefully the team can get used to the new rotations/lineup by the season starts. Coaches Carr and Casey have their work cut out for them, but I trust they will do a great job.
